Item features: - Material: PTFE Teflon (polytetrafluoroethylene), white. - Condition: raw material, virginal without fillers, extruded. - Cutting tolerance 0/+ 2 mm (saw). - May show signs of storage. - Density: 2.2 g/cm3. - Temperature resistance: -200 °C to +260 °C (short-term to +300 °C) crystallite melting point +327 °C (when heated above 400 °C decomposition occurs under the formation of harmful fumes). - Easy to machine / good turning and drilling quality (lathe, drill, milling machine). - No moisture absorption, hardly wettable with liquid. - Anti-adhesive behaviour. - Best sliding behaviour of all solids - Very good light and weather resistance. - Highest chemical resistance. - High corrosion resistance. - Hydrolysis resistant. - High dielectric properties - Low coefficient of friction. - Good electrical insulator. - Neutral in taste.
